COMMISSION DISCOUNTS (And life update)
TL;DR: Car engine broke, offering discounts on emergency commissions to help pay for it. Long version: So my 20-year-old work-horse of a car had its timing belt break the other day, which was bad enough, but because it happened while I was driving on the freeway it damaged some of the other engine components on the way out. It's going to be at LEAST $3,500 to get me moving again- Mechanic's not sure yet whether it'll be cheaper to repair the engine or replace it entirely- and this was AFTER being extorted for ransom when my Discord got hacked, as mentioned below: https://www.deviantart.com/thesoylentorange/journal/I-VE-BEEN-HACKED-1035942759 So since I've been robbed and then hit with a gigantic bill, I'm going to run some discounts on my services in the hopes of enticing some clients for some badly-needed money. New Year's Resoltion: Be More Open and Honest
Hi, my name is Ryan. I'm in my early 40s, and given my fairly rotten medical history, I'm probably on the last third of my life as of this year. I've always kept a pretty solid wall up between my SFW and NSFW lives, but I've kind of reached a point where I want people to know me, the actual me, as I teeter towards the hereafter. (If any of my "normal" friends or relatives find this, well, you've always known I was weird, and I hope this side of me isn't so much of a shock as to be relationship-ending. ^^; ) TL;DR: There's a human behind the orange skull avatar, and he wants to be known and remembered. Most of you know me as a writer, and I am; it's what I've always been. I wrote my first terrible fiction when I was four, about two kids growing crops on a farm, and basically never stopped. As I grew up, I wanted to be a doctor, but I wrote. (Couldn't pass the advanced chemistry classes) Then I wanted to be a game developer, but I wrote. (Couldn't pass the assembly language and

2023 flew by way too fast. Here I was hoping *that* would be the year I get back to posting regularly. Not quite. ---REAL LIFE AND NEW HOUSE--- At the end of August, I moved in with my best friend at her apartment to see how her and I living together would work. Ultimately she liked living on her own better, but we still had a good time. At the same time, my parents were excited to find a house in the city for me, and they found a good one I liked that was in better condition, so I got it! From October to December we were busy working on the 1960s home, replacing the floors and repainting the walls, among many other things. And by the end of December, I moved in fully! Well, 85% of my stuff, ha ha. Then, 2024 greeted me with a mix of freezing cold, a dead car battery, a dead laptop with only 90% of my art backed up (just the art, everything else gone), and two times my sewer drain plugged, resulting in the drain by my laundry machines looking VERY sketchy in terms of how
